They worked in a space between post-punk, new wave, and Argentine rock, which gave them a particular sound that caught on with listeners looking for something different at the time.
Their song 'Andar En Líos' became something of an anthem for them, helping to define their early period. They put out albums like 'FM & Usted' in 1985, 'Antes de Después' in 1986, and 'Corazones en Llamas' in 1988. Other tracks like 'Contracorriente' and 'Culpable' show the range they were working with.
They faced some pushback from conservative parts of Argentine society over their lyrics and general attitude, but they kept making music on their own terms. The band developed a following in Latin America and beyond, though they never seemed particularly interested in smoothing out their edges to appeal to everyone.
