Frescolate is a Mexican band formed in Palenque in 1995 by the Carpio brothers. The group includes César David Carpio on lead vocals, Joan Manuel Carpio on guitar, Carlos Manuel Carpio on bass, Wilmer Carpio on keyboards, and Joel Carpio on drums. They started playing local festivals and community events around their hometown.
Their 2004 debut album "Amor Infiel" brought them wider attention, with the title track becoming particularly well-known. Other songs like "Bendito Es El Delito" and "Corazon Delator" have also been part of their catalog. They followed that album with several others including "Mi Dulce Veneno" in 2006, "Más Infiel Que Yo" in 2008, and "Deja de Llorar" in 2012.
In 2007, the band became involved in a legal dispute over song ownership that lasted several years. They've maintained a following in Latin America with their music centered around themes of love and relationships.
