Archive material and source history
Frontiel formed in Madrid in 2010, starting as a group of friends with vocalist Alba Fernández, keyboardist Javier Adán, guitarist Sergio Vega, bassist Pablo Durán, and drummer Álvaro de la Torre. Their debut album 'A Poca Luz' came out the following year, featuring the title track that would become their most recognizable song.
Vega and Durán left the band in 2013, around the time Frontiel released their second album 'In the Shadows.' They put out another album called 'Eternal' in 2017. Their sound worked with electronic textures and Fernández's vocals, drawing some comparisons to synth-pop acts.
Beyond 'A Poca Luz,' songs like 'No Se Ve' and 'Yo Me Le Pego' also appeared in their catalog.
