Frontline formed in Los Angeles with Andrew O'Neill on vocals, Will Herrington on guitar, Nick Villegas on bass, and Nick Malmquist on drums. They put out their debut album "Asylum" and later released "Another Love" in 2017, which included songs like "Get To You" and "Break My Heart Again."
Their song "Another Love" got some radio play, but the band had a rough stretch in the mid-2010s with a legal dispute over their music rights. They kept recording through it, putting out "Distant Shores" between their first and last albums.
By the time they wrapped up, Frontline had moved toward more synth and electronic elements in their sound. The lineup that started in a Los Angeles studio didn't stay together in the end.
