Frozen formed in Rio de Janeiro in 1994 around the songwriting partnership of Cristiane Lisbôa and Renato Rocha. They released several albums over the following years, including 'A Porta do Mundo' in 1999 and 'Sóis' in 2004, with a lineup that included Bruno Aniceto on drums and André "Buguinha" Ramos on bass.
