When he looks he thinks he sees

Flawless skin although it bleeds

He listens and he wants to hear

The same thing that he sees

When he breathes he thinks he smells

Their clock burning but it's just his yearning lungs

He thinks he knows how it should feel

Used to look up at the stars

They seemed so close but now they seem so far

Used to see that each one shined

Now he knows they're there

But can't see where they are

Every bird locked in that cage

Is every bird he's not allowed to free

The door won't open here

'cause senselessness is holding back the key
