Fünf Sterne Deluxe formed in Cologne in the 1990s, with Jeanette Biedermann on vocals. Their first album came out in 1995, and they put out records fairly regularly through 2006, including 'Lieber Anders' and 'Herzschlag'. The song 'Dein Herz Schlägt Schneller' was a breakthrough single for them, even if radio stations were slow to pick it up at first.
They were a German pop and dance band, and Biedermann's voice was a central part of their sound. Other members included Rainer Oleak on keyboards and vocals, Thomas Felder on guitar, Jens Filser on bass, and Kay Peters on drums. Their catalog also includes songs like 'Die Leude', 'Dördichkeit', and 'HipHop-Clowns und Party-Rapper'.
After their last album 'Absolut' in 2006, the band stopped releasing new material. Biedermann went on to work as a solo artist, while the other musicians pursued different projects.
