Their lyrics often touched on subjects like mental health and existential questions, which sometimes drew criticism in Brazil. The band kept experimenting, releasing more albums like 'A Casa ao Lado' in 2000 and the concept album 'Labirinto' in 2003.
Fungos Suicidas disbanded in 2008 after nearly two decades. Their music, especially 'Ô Minha Linda!', still gets played and remembered in Brazil, more for its odd, persistent presence than for any grand legacy.
