G0 - Gravidade Zero formed in Rio de Janeiro around 2005, originally calling themselves Gravidade. They started playing local bars and festivals before signing with the independent label Deckdisc in 2007. Their self-titled debut album came out in 2009, but it was their 2011 follow-up 'Céu Azul' that really connected with listeners.
The song 'Nossa Canção' from that album became particularly popular in Brazil. They've released several other albums since then, including 'Infinito' in 2014, 'Acústico' in 2016, 'Aurora' in 2018, and 'Tempo' in 2021. Other songs like 'Por Um Segundo' and 'Palavras Mudas' also appear in their catalog.
Bruno Melo handles vocals and guitar, Rodrigo Suricato sings and plays bass, Lucas Silveira contributes vocals and guitar, Sérgio Britto is on drums, and Felipe Andreoli plays guitar. In 2013, the group faced some public scrutiny when a former member made accusations about mistreatment and financial issues, which the band denied.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
