Gabriel Gaier e Banda is a Brazilian group fronted by vocalist and guitarist Gabriel Gaier. The band formed in São Paulo with bassist Paulo Henrique and drummer Rodrigo Barros, later adding keyboardist Thiago Rocha. They started playing small venues around the city.
In 2017, they released their debut single "Vem Pra Cá," which became popular in Brazil. That same year they put out their first album, "Pra Que Pensar." They've since released two more albums: "Se Você Puder" in 2019 and "O Tempo Vai Cuidar" in 2023.
Some of their lyrics drew criticism from conservative groups, but they continued performing and recording. The band's music combines Brazilian rhythms with contemporary sounds.
