Gama WNTD formed in São Paulo with childhood friends Guilherme Arantes and Filipe Catto, later joined by keyboardist Fábio Sá and drummer Marcelo Camelo. The band name came from their neighborhood's desire for change.
Their 2012 debut single "Borboletas" brought them attention with its haunting melody and introspective lyrics. They followed with a self-titled debut album in 2014.
Later albums included "Jardins da Babilônia" in 2017, "Alfa" in 2019, and "Atemporal" in 2022.
