Garden came together in Glasgow in the late 1980s, with Brian Jones on vocals and guitar. Their first single was "Advanced Adventure," which set a tone for what followed. The band's lineup included James Stewart on keyboards, Robert Keegan on bass, and Simon Smith on drums.
Their second album, Underworlds, came out in 1991. It included songs like "Waiting for the Siren" and "The Perfect Day." The group worked with David Bowie and Brian Eno around that time.
Later records included Glass in 1995 and The Lost Tapes in 2001. They put out a live album, Live at the Paradiso, in 2005. Other songs in their catalog include "Composite Queen," "Olhos Rasos," and "Ainda Ontem."
