Garden City Movement formed in Birmingham, England in 2006 with Lee Dorrian on vocals, Adam Sedgwick on guitar, Chris Cates on bass, and Jim Martin on drums. They put out their self-titled debut album in 2009, which included the track "Move On." Dorrian had previously been in Napalm Death, which drew some attention at the time.
They followed that debut with The Bellwether in 2012, At War With the Silverfish in 2015, and Dead Roots Stir in 2019. Their catalog also includes songs like "Summer Night (feat. Lola Marsh)," "She's So Untouchable," "Bengali Cinema," and "My Only Love."
