G!BRVNX formed in Porto Alegre in 2015, started by brothers Guto and Guga Bovo. Their debut album 'Um Brinde a Nós Um Brinde a Elas' came out in 2017, and the title track became a hit. The band's lineup includes Guto Bovo on vocals and guitar, Guga Bovo on bass, Gustavo Vaz on drums, and Bruno Zadrozny on guitar.
They've released several albums since then, including 'Aurora Boreal' in 2019, 'Identidade' in 2021, and 'Vingar' in 2023. Songs like 'Amaterasu' and 'Hades' appear among their popular tracks. In 2019, the song 'Aurora Boreal' was withdrawn from streaming services after plagiarism accusations.
