Geffe formed in São Paulo in the early 2000s as a Brazilian pop-rock band. The group included vocalist Pedro Sol and guitarist Guilherme Silva. They built a following with a sound that leaned on straightforward melodies and direct lyrics.
In 2005, their single 'Flutuar Num Beijo' became a national hit in Brazil. The song's synth melody and reflective tone connected with listeners.
Guitarist Wanderson Maya left the band in 2009. Geffe kept recording after that, putting out albums like 'Dois Mundos' and 'Infinito' that showed some shifts in their approach.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
