Geores Eduardo was born in Rio de Janeiro in 1972 and started releasing music in the mid-1990s. His self-titled debut album came out in 1995, mixing rock and pop with spiritual themes. The song 'Brados de Glória' from his 1998 album of the same name became particularly well-known in Brazilian Christian circles.
He also recorded 'Todo Dia' among other tracks. In 2002, there were some plagiarism claims about 'Brados de Glória' that were eventually dismissed. Eduardo sometimes drew attention for speaking his mind on social and religious topics.
