Geovane Silva Santos and Zélia de Oliveira started singing together in 2007, coming from Cajazeiras in Brazil. Their first album came out the next year, called 'Consolador,' and the title track became a hit. That song, along with others like 'De Volta pra Casa' and 'Ajuda-me,' helped establish them in Brazilian gospel music.
They kept recording after that, putting out albums in 2010, 2012, and 2014. In 2015, there was some discussion about their use of auto-tune during performances, with different listeners having different reactions to it. They released a live album in 2016 and another studio record in 2018.
Geovane plays guitar and sings lead, while Zélia handles keyboards and vocals. Their music draws from Christian faith, with songs like 'Está Passando Aqui' and 'Falou Comigo' reflecting that focus.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
