Geovane e Gustavo

Geovane Costa and Gustavo Lima formed their duo in Goiânia, where they both had roots in Brazil's sertanejo tradition. Their first album, 'Em Cada Canto um Sonho,' came out in 2016 and included the track 'Solteira Sim,' which caught on with listeners. They followed it with other records like 'Nosso Tempo' in 2017 and 'No Compasso do Amor' in 2020.

Geovane handles lead vocals and guitar, while Gustavo sings and plays guitar as well. Their music draws from sertanejo's familiar patterns but leans toward a cleaner, more pop-oriented sound that found a ready audience outside the genre's usual circles. They've kept at it through the last several years, playing shows and putting out material without much fuss.
