Gervs

Gervs formed in 2015 when three friends, Joe Gill, Max Prichard, and Dave Williams, started playing music together in London. Their debut single 'Best Friends' came out in 2017, a straightforward guitar song about friendship that caught some attention. The band's name comes from the Latin word 'servus,' which means servant.

They put out a debut album called 'Friends Like These' and later released other records including 'Echoes' and 'The Journey.' Gill handled vocals and guitar, Prichard played guitar and added harmonies, and Williams was the drummer. Their songs like 'Dead Roses' and 'Emotions' kept to that basic guitar-band setup without much fuss.

In 2019 there was some talk about plagiarism around a song called 'Don't Forget Me,' but the details were vague and it didn't seem to change much about how they worked. They kept making music, the kind you'd hear from a group of friends who started playing in London and never really stopped.
