Ghost Boy

Ghost Boy is a band led by someone known as Ghost, who handles vocals, songwriting, and production. They started putting out music in the early 2000s, releasing their first album independently in 2005. That self-titled debut had a melancholic feel, with songs like 'Away' and 'Ghost in My Head' built around haunting harmonies.

Later albums like 'The Glass Passenger' and 'Synergy' brought in more electronic textures and ethereal instrumentation. The band's sound kept shifting, but it always stayed rooted in that introspective, slightly eerie atmosphere. Tracks such as 'Friends' and 'Suburban Creep' show how they balanced melody with a sense of unease.

Ghost Boy's lineup included backing vocalist Iris, among others. The music never fit neatly into one genre, drawing from alternative rock and classical touches without settling into a formula. They worked outside the usual label system for a while, which let them follow their own path without much interference.
