Ghost choir

Ghost Choir is a project led by Danny Seim that began in Los Angeles around 2015. Their first album was called 'Nostalgia,' and they followed it with 'The Death of Madness' in 2018 and 'Archaic' in 2020. The music tends to work with classical, electronic, and ambient textures, often using string quartets and other collaborators.

One of their tracks is 'Ghost Choir With Vocals,' which has the kind of ethereal vocal and synth layers that show up across their recordings. The songs generally lean into themes of loss and longing without much bombast, staying in a reflective, atmospheric space.

Seim handles vocals and songwriting, and the group operates with a rotating set of musicians rather than a fixed lineup.
