Ghost Town formed in Leeds around 2004, with vocalist Greg Hall and guitarist Ben Thorpe at the center. They put out a debut single called "Sink Like a Stone" that gave an early sense of their sound, dark, guitar-driven rock with Hall's distinctive voice up front. Their first album, simply titled Ghost Town, arrived in 2006 and included the track "You're So Creepy."
Over the next decade or so, they released several more albums that kept exploring moody, atmospheric territory. Beheaded came out in 2008, followed by The Good, the Bad, and the Evil in 2010, The Immortal in 2014, and The Exorcist in 2018. Songs like "Dr. Doctor," "Acid," and "Monster" show their consistent interest in gothic rock textures and themes drawn from horror imagery.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
