Ghoultown formed in the late 1980s, originally called Death Valley before changing their name in 1994. They play horror punk with rockabilly and darkwave elements, drawing from horror films and the imagery of abandoned Southwestern ghost towns.
Their songs like 'Drink With The Living Dead' and 'Bury Them Deep' have straightforward horror themes. The band's lineup has included Dosey Doe on vocals and bass, Dietrich Death and Elvira Vayne on guitars, and Kellie Davis on drums.
Ghoultown's horror aesthetic sometimes drew criticism, but they kept making music in that style. They released several albums that maintained their particular blend of macabre rock.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
