Giant formed in Los Angeles in the late 1980s with Dann Huff on vocals and guitar. Their debut album 'Last of the Runaways' came out in 1989 and included the song 'I'll See You In My Dreams.' They followed it with 'Time to Burn' in 1992, which had the title track 'Time To Burn.'
The band's original lineup included Dann Huff, David Huff on guitar, Mike Brignardello on bass, and Alan Rich on drums. They went through some lineup changes over time and put out two more albums: 'Giant III' in 2001 and 'Promises on Hold' in 2008.
Giant took a break in 1991 but came back together later. Their songs like 'Anna Lee' and 'Chained' show their melodic rock style. They also recorded a version of 'Believer' called 'Believer (Redux).'
