Gil Monteiro is a Brazilian singer-songwriter from Vitória, Espírito Santo. His music draws from Brazilian rhythms along with folk and rock, with influences that include Milton Nascimento, Jorge Ben Jor, and Bob Dylan.
His debut album was called "Terra de Gente." Songs like "Se o Teu Sangue Curar" and "O Céu Se Abre" are among his better-known work.
