Giolì & Assia are an Italian duo made up of Giorgia Lipari and Assia Barbagallo. They started working together around 2015, putting out their first EP, 'Inside Your Head,' the following year. That title track became one of their early recognizable songs.
Their music tends toward electronica with pop and ambient touches. Over the next few years they released more EPs like 'Moon Faces' and albums including 'Daylight' and 'Fire, Hell and Holy Water.' Other songs in their catalog include 'Borderline,' 'Playing Chess,' and 'Darling.'
In 2018 they dealt with a copyright issue over a track called 'Distant,' which was settled without lasting public drama. They've kept releasing music, with an album called 'Fellings As A Foreign Language' coming out in 2022. One of their more recent tracks is 'Quedate,' which features Pabllo Vittar.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
