A Milano c'è gente che muore
la notizia fa un certo scalpore.
Anche in provincia si muore.
La peste si diffonde adagio
poi cresce e si parla di contagio
c'è il sospetto che sia un focolaio
che parte dal centro e si muove a raggiera
dilaga dovunque
la peste nera.
È scoppiata un'epidemia di quelle più maligne
con bubboni che appestano uomini, donne e bambini
l'infezione è trasmessa da topi usciti dalle fogne
ma hanno visto abilissime mani lanciarli dai tombini
sono le solite mani nascoste e potenti
che lavorano sotto, che son sempre presenti.
La gente si difende disperata
la peste incalza e viene avanti
si dilaga, si scatena agguerrita
è anche peggio di quella del venti
la peste ci viene addosso
la peste non si ferma più
morti dappertutto
che vengono ammassati come animali
non fa neanche più effetto
sono cose normali
si fotografano i cadaveri
non fa neanche più schifo
ci si lava, ci si pettina
si esce, si va al bar
si scansano i cadaveri
non ci fai più caso.
Ci si abitua così presto
in fondo ne muoiono tanti
anche al week-end di ferragosto.
Un bacillo a bastoncino
che ti entra nel cervello

un bacillo a manganello.
