Their 1997 single 'Opa' became a hit that captured a certain Greek celebratory energy, mixing traditional instrumentation with pop accessibility.
They released several albums including Opa (1997), O Ti Ki Olo (2000), Giati Ti Tha' Haso (2002), Tis Agapis To Poli (2004), and San Na Tou Eisai (2006). Their approach to traditional Greek music sometimes drew criticism from purists who felt they were diluting the sound, though this didn't stop 'Opa' from becoming widely popular.
The band eventually disbanded, but 'Opa' remains their most recognizable track, still played at celebrations where its particular blend of bouzouki, clarinet, and driving rhythm creates an immediate party atmosphere.
