Girls Can't Catch formed in Manchester around 2010, starting with vocalist and guitarist Leigh-Anne Seddon and drummer Jess Hannan meeting at music college. They eventually became a trio with bassist Sophie Beresford joining in 2013. Their debut EP 'Alone' came out in 2014, with the title track becoming one of their notable songs.
They released their first album 'Age of Doubt' in 2016, followed by 'Keep Your Head' in 2020. Other songs in their catalog include 'Discover Me', 'Echo', and 'Happy Alone'. The band's work has touched on themes of anxiety and self-doubt, though some early criticism questioned aspects of their lyrical content.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
