Giselle Di Mene came up in São Paulo, where she started writing songs that drew from gospel music and her Christian faith. Her first album, Refúgio, came out in 2003 and included the track Meu Protetor, which became widely known in Brazil.
She has kept recording since then, putting out albums like Cura e Libertação in 2007 and Milagres in 2010. Other songs of hers include Eu Só posso Imaginar and A Vida Te Dou.
Giselle performs as a solo artist and has been outspoken at times, which has drawn some criticism. She has used her position to talk about social justice and interfaith issues.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
