Gizely Dell is an all-female band from Salvador, Bahia, formed in 2013. They blend pop, funk, and axé music, a style rooted in their home region. Early on, they played open mics and street performances to build an audience.
Their 2017 debut single "É Ruim Que Cê Me Pega" became a hit across Brazil. The song's catchy melody and lyrics connected with listeners. They've released albums like "Axé da Bahia" in 2018, "Vem que Tem" in 2020, and "Guerreiras do Axé" in 2022.
The band's core members include Gizely Christine and Dell Nunes on vocals, with Fabrício Souza on drums, Isaque Sousa on bass, and André Rodrigues on guitar. Their lineup has changed some over time.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
