Glasser is the project of Cameron Mesirow, who started making music in 2006. Her debut album 'Ring' came out that same year, establishing a sound that draws from ambient textures and electronic beats. Songs like 'Apply' and 'Shape' show her approach to electro-pop with layered vocals and atmospheric production.
She has worked with musicians including Jared Taylor on drums and John Congleton on bass and guitar. The band's label True Panther Sounds dissolved in 2012, after which Glasser continued releasing music independently. Tracks such as 'Landscape' and 'Clamour' appeared on later releases, maintaining her focus on detailed arrangements and personal lyrics.
In 2016, Mesirow wrote about her experience with bipolar disorder in The Guardian, discussing mental health openly. Her music, including songs like 'Design', often explores interior spaces through both sound and words without leaning into grand statements.
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
