Glenn Tipton

Glenn Tipton joined Judas Priest in 1974, a few years after the band formed. He and guitarist K.K. Downing developed what fans called a 'twin guitar attack,' a style that became central to the band's sound on albums like 1980's 'British Steel.' Tipton co-wrote songs such as 'Living After Midnight' and 'Breaking the Law' during this period.

In 1981, Judas Priest released 'Point of Entry,' which included the track 'Baptizm Of Fire.' The song's lyrics drew criticism from some groups, though Tipton later described them as an exploration of darker themes. His solo work includes songs like 'Crime Of Passion' and 'Fuel Me Up,' which he recorded outside the band.
