Guns N' Roses formed in Los Angeles in 1985 with Axl Rose on vocals, Slash on guitar, Izzy Stradlin on rhythm guitar, Duff McKagan on bass, and Steven Adler on drums. Their debut album 'Appetite for Destruction' came out in 1987 and included songs like 'Welcome to the Jungle' and 'Paradise City.'
In 1991 they released the double albums 'Use Your Illusion I' and 'Use Your Illusion II.' The band's lineup changed over time, with Stradlin and Adler leaving in the early 1990s. They put out 'Chinese Democracy' in 2008, which had a Spanish-language track called 'Dunas.'
Rose has been the only constant member through various configurations. Other musicians who have played in the band include keyboardist Dizzy Reed, guitarist Richard Fortus, and drummer Frank Ferrer.
