Go Betty Go formed in San Francisco in 1999, with Nicolette Vilar fronting the band. Their debut album 'Nothing Is More' came out in 2002, and the single 'Runaway' from that record got some attention. They followed it up with 'Leave This Town' in 2004.

Vilar left the band in 2007, and the remaining members kept playing under the same name for a while. She rejoined in 2010, and they put out an album called 'Reboot' that year. Their songs like 'Donde Voy' and 'C'mon' show the kind of straightforward rock they were doing.
