Goldpeople formed in Portland, Oregon in 2002 with Adam Gnade on vocals and guitar, Todd Fink on bass, and John Myers on drums. Their debut album 'And the Life You Save' came out in 2006, and its lead single 'And He Life You Save' got some attention. They put out a few more records after that, including 'All the Time You Were Wrong' in 2008 and 'Everything Is True' in 2010.
Their sound mixed indie rock with folk and electronic touches, though that description probably covers a lot of ground. They had songs like 'But I Say' and 'Car Phone' in their catalog. Todd Fink left the band in 2014, the same year they released 'Slow Motion'.
