Panic

After every battle of the wars you fight inside.

When the raindrops of the storm finally start to dry,

Then you ask yourself the questions.

When you finally look around,

to see what's left behind, Sittin'

in the shadows of your walls that grew too high.

While you screamed and cried and asked for help and heard no reply.

How can I not panic,

when the pain grows too strong?

'cause the storm grows wild and wilder while I sit and sing this song.

If you just give me the answers,

then I'll promise to calm down.

But the voices in my head just tell me to go on and on.

Listen to the echo of your voice inside the caves,

in the everlasting halls and stone walls of your maze with no traffic lights to guide you.

Can you see the seed of panic inside my eyes?

Even though they look so dry, the tears fall all night.

While I screamed and cried and asked for help,

I heard your reply!

How can I not panic,
