My Tears Mirror

Like a ring of thorns i feel the spell around my heart

I remember the time i became the one i am

I was the scythe of the great father called death

Now the gate to his garden shall be opened for myself

A dark vision that becomes true

For decades i'm having longed

For eternal silence

In a dimension of cold darkness

Without any motion

I am lost between two worlds

Dream and reality - life and death

Forever i am jailed in a mightless body

I am chained to walls of fear

So long i fled from this nightmare named life

The view on the fucking cross ripped me from inside

But as godless as i was born i will die

I hate this life and i hate this god for being so blind

Restless i wander through the no man's land of my soul

A lovelorn life will end this night

Black candles are spreading a neverknown warmth

I see faces in the mirror at the wall

They are calling me: "come with us!!"

So i follow them through the reflection of my life

Splinters of glass run through my hands

Like a razorblade they open my skin

Cutting my hateful face

All i still taste is blood - my blood

Warm and soft like velvet it covers my freezing soul

A bloody tear leaves my impaled eye

And i am home
