Archive material and source history
Graxa formed in São Paulo in 1983 with Adalberto Rabelo on vocals and guitar, Eduardo Barata on guitar, Paulo Ricardo on bass, and Marcelo Fromer on drums. Their debut album 'Não Se Preocupe Comigo' came out in 1985 and got some radio play.
Their second album 'Lado B' from 1986 included 'Acho Que Nesse Domingo Eu Vou Ficar Triste,' a song that became widely known in Brazil. Other tracks like 'Boogie And Blues' and 'Doutor, Por Favor' show the band working with different textures.
They made five studio albums total. The lineup changed in the early 1990s, but they kept recording.
