Graziano Romani fronted an Italian rock band that shared his name. He worked with producer Giorgio Gaber early on, releasing a debut album in 1970 that included the single "Absolutely Free." Some of his songs, like "New Egypt" and "Nobody Knows," appear in his catalog.
In 1974, he put out an album called "Il Fantasma di Stalin" that criticized the Soviet regime. His lyrics often dealt with political themes and social commentary.
Over time, musicians like Gabriele Lazzarini on guitar, Alessandro Bertozzi on drums, and Marco Rossi on bass played in the group. Romani recorded more than twenty studio albums across several decades, including titles like "Nero su Nero," "La Famiglia," and "Io Non Ho Paura."
