Away Thoughts

Some nights, when I lay

I don't know if I should wake up

Or close my eyes forevermore

It's just a feels, but, some nights

It's more than what I'd imagine

It punches a great hole in my heart

So that I got to feel the emptiness

It sounds like there's nothing left to lose

No reason left to stay, no reason left to carry on

And I can watch the world of beyond getting close to me

Angels call out my name

That's when something in me

Tells me it's time to go

I found out we were like the buildings

The weaker we're built, faster we fall apart

No one can pick up the pieces of a broken heart

No one can collet shattered feelings from the ground

I wish I could live these days

But exactly, these days

I'm caught up on away thoughts

Anxiety is a great struggle to face

I can't wait to see what's next, I can't wait to be there

It's so strange how peaceful I get, when it comes to go away

Away from this world

I can't wait to see what I left behind

Life's a bittersweet journey

It's so much happiness, so much sadness involved

Every one has their own ways

To follow, to get back home

And I feel like I'm about to arrive

They're getting ready my revival

Though, I'm still stuck in here

Wishing I could live for one more day
