G.R.E.S.V. Curral Das Éguas formed in Belém, Brazil in 1965. They're a samba group that has often used their music to address social issues, sometimes stirring up debate in the process.
They followed that with "Samba-Enredo 2020 - Luiz Carlos de Todas As Vilas."
The group has included members like vocalist Jean Claude, composer Valdir Santana, arranger Jairo Gemaque, and percussionist Luís Eduardo. They released albums including their self-titled 1972 debut and 1981's "Praia Grande."
Keep it compact: a lyric you come back to, a live memory, or the part of the catalog you would point someone toward first.
