Gritando HC formed in São Paulo, Brazil, originally starting as a band called Raça Pura in 1994. The early lineup included vocalist Cristóvão Bóris, guitarist Daniel Lucena, bassist Fabio Soares, and drummer Flavio Cianciaruso. After some changes, they became Gritando HC in 2001 and put out their first album, "Socos e Pontapés," the next year.
In 2004, their song "Velho Punk" became a breakout single that connected with listeners across Brazil. Other tracks like "Ande de Skate e Destrua" and "Terra da Garoa" also became part of their catalog. They kept recording through the 2000s and 2010s, with albums like "A Vida É Uma Lona" in 2008 and "Sangue e Suor" in 2013.
