GRiZ is the stage name of Grant Kwiecinski, an electronic music producer from Ann Arbor, Michigan. He plays saxophone and blends funk and jazz elements into his dance tracks. His 2011 debut album was called 'End of the World Party'.
His song 'Good Times Roll,' made with the duo Big Gigantic, became a popular festival track. Other songs like 'Find My Own Way' and 'Can't Hold Me Down' show his mix of upbeat production and soulful melodies.
In 2016, there were allegations of sexual misconduct against the project, which were denied. Outside of music, GRiZ has supported environmental causes like the National Park Service.
