Their debut album "Bombocado" came out in 1990 and included the song "Você e Eu," which became a national hit in Brazil. The band followed with albums like "Desejo" in 1992 and "Zumbi" in 1996.
Grupo Bombocado's lyrics sometimes addressed social and political topics, which drew both supporters and critics. They kept recording through the 2000s, putting out live albums and later releases like "Bombocado 30 Anos" in 2019.
