Grupo D'xa Clarear formed in Campina Grande in 1996, taking their name from the dawn breaking over northeastern Brazil. They started playing local festivals and bars, and their debut album 'Eu Só Liguei' came out in 2000. The title track became a hit in Brazil.
They've put out several albums since then, including 'Chega D'xa Entrar' in 2001, 'Todo Mundo Mexe' in 2005, and 'No Toque da Sanfona' in 2012. While staying with forró, they've sometimes mixed in other sounds. The lineup has changed over time, with Julinho Porradão on vocals and Joãozi on accordion in recent years.
