Their first album, simply called 'Paralelo,' came out in 1984 and included the song 'O Sol Irá Nascer,' which became one of their best-known tracks.
They followed that with albums like 'Perfume' in 1986 and 'Asas' in 1988, working in a mix of rock, pop, and Brazilian rhythms. Some listeners questioned their approach to blending styles, but they kept making music through the 1990s and into the 2000s with records such as 'Estrela Dalva' and 'Nosso Tempo.'
Other songs like 'Superação' and 'Viva a Vida' also became part of their set. They marked their 30th anniversary with a release in 2014.
