Grupo Sobretudo

Grupo Sobretudo is a Brazilian ensemble that first gained attention with their 2019 single "De Uma Vez," a collaboration with Grupo Tá Na Mente. The group includes vocalists Thaeme Mariôto and Thiago Bertoldo, guitarist Guto Oliveira, keyboardist Xandão, and drummer Fernando Anitelli. Their debut album "Tudo ao Mesmo Tempo" featured that track and helped establish their presence in Brazil's pop and sertanejo scenes.

Their songs like "Mapa Astral" and "Até o Final" show the group's tendency toward melodic, emotionally direct material. They've followed up with albums called "Retrato," "Sintonia," and a live recording, though the catalog details beyond those titles are thin. The music leans into pop structures with sertanejo touches, avoiding complex arrangements in favor of clear vocal lines and straightforward rhythms.

Some early criticism suggested their work was too commercial, but they kept recording. Later tracks like "Choro Em Silêncio" and the collaboration "Disputa de Ego" with Ah Mr Dan followed a similar pattern, accessible, radio-ready songs built around the two vocalists.
