Guilherme Britz formed the band Ainad Hoje in Porto Alegre, Brazil in 2010 with Felipe Machado and Thiago Cordeiro. Their debut album 'Só Quero Você' came out the following year, with the title track becoming a national hit. The band's name would later become the title of one of Britz's solo songs.
After Machado left in 2013, Britz and Cordeiro continued with Pedro Coelho joining on bass. They released 'O Mundo É Nosso' in 2014 and 'Caminho' in 2017. In 2016, there were plagiarism accusations regarding 'Só Quero Você' that were eventually dismissed.
As a solo artist, Britz has songs like '109 Dias', '12.01.18.09.19.19.01', and 'Fênix' in his catalog. The band put out an acoustic album in 2020.
