I forgot to tell you about that colorful summer when we first met

Each sculpture seemed to sing the right song when I touched your soft hand

Everything was on fire but I had your voice in my head

I was drunk in your smell, contemplating the ocean, when you said yes

The flowers in your neck

We danced at sunset

Then the moon just came to you

I’ll never forget the view

I said: Baby, we’ll be alright

For me that all was art

That’s when that words came out

And then you started to cry

Of all the pearls I chose the one that gave me a reason to become
